How to take

The medication is taken by mouth 45 minutes before sexual activity. Swallow a pellet or necessary dose of it with a glass of water. Do not eat substantial high fat containing food before using Viagra, because it worsens the results of its activity. The average dose is a half of a 100mg pill a day.

Side effects

The most common side effects of Viagra are migraine, facial blush and stomach indigestion. Less commonly blurred vision and dizziness. If these effects exist and get worse, call your doctor immediately.

Precaution

Discuss your general health condition with your doctor and pay special attention if you have allergies, priapism, penis fibrosis or scarring, drepanocytemia, blood cancer, Peyronie's disease, eyes problems, kidneys or liver problems if you are older than age 65, bleeding disorders, active stomach pests, cardiovascular diseases, problems with high or low blood pressure. Be careful with alcohol intake, because it aggravates side effects of the drug. Sometimes dizziness may occur when rising from a seated or lying position, in this case rise slowly. Men of age more than 65 years old may be more sensitive to the side effects of the medication.

Drug interactions

Tell your doctor about all drugs that you are taking along with Viagra,especially any nitrate medications against chest pain (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate), mibefradil, nitroprusside, cimetidine, rifamycins (e.g., rifampin), erythromycin, azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole) and drugs against high blood pressure. Viagra should not be used with other medications causing erections.

Storage

Guard the drug at room temperature (15-30?C), avoiding light and humidity far away from children. Do not take the medication if its shelf-life is over.
